Boneless Processing

Downtown Meats is known for our exceptional meat processing at reasonable prices. We pride ourselves in providing exactly what our customers want with multiple package sizes, thickness of cuts and more. We offer boneless processing of venison, elk, bear, antelope, moose, caribou, goose, pheasants, duck, wild boar and wild turkeys all year around.

Pork Processing

Downtown Meats promises a mouthwatering, rich flavored pork, with superior tenderness and natural juiciness. The unmatched quality of our pork will provide you with a meal to remember.

Wild Game Processing

We only do boneless process, no whole carcasses. 50% deposit required when dropping off product.

Keep your meat clean:

  • Only clean trimmings accepted.
  • We will not accept any meat that is bloodshot, fatty, full of hair, freezer burnt, or old.
  • If you are unable to bring your meat in immediately, freeze it fresh right away in a freezer safe bag. (Clean double bread bags will work)
  • Smoke products are processed at the beginning after New Years.

Processing Requirements: Fresh sausage is processed in 12.5 lb. batches per flavor. Each batch requires a minimum of 7.5 lbs. of wild game, with 5 lbs. of pork added to complete the total weight.

Processing Requirements: Smoked/cooked products require a 25 lb. meat block (15 lbs. wild game minimum + 10 lbs. pork), and you are charged per 25 lb. batch, per flavor. Final packaging is either 6 brats, 11 sticks, or 12 hot dogs per pack.

Processing Requirements: Jerky & bacon products require a 12.5 lb. batch per flavor, which consists of a 10 lb. minimum of wild game plus 2.5 lbs. of pork. All finished products are packaged into 1.25 lb. packs.
